frequently asked questions

Can I use the pack in survival?

Not really, I intended this to be used for creative Building, most things will look weird.

Is it compatible with normal world generation and normal builds?

That will also work not that well, because most blocks are very different from their vanilla counterparts.

When will the pack be finished? What is still missing?

FORM Architecture is a work in progress... but this progress is pretty slow. (I'm just not working on a resource pack all the time.)

I still have a lot of things I want to change and add, like glazed terracotta and concrete powder.

Can I upload builds or videos using the resource pack?

Yes, you can, but please link to https://goo.gl/2drGy1 in the description. I would like to hear from you :)

Can I upload the resource pack or an edited version of it?

This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License

You can only share the link to the resource pack (https://goo.gl/2drGy1). Don't upload your own version or just copy it for commercial purposes. You can publish an edited version only after getting permission and if you follow the license terms.

tips & tricks

Getting started

Make sure you installed Optifine and run the correct version of Minecraft. Select your shader and enable Celshading in the shader options.

I recommend playing in a flat world, so you get an empty canvas to build on, normal terrain can look pretty strange. Play in creative mode and type in the following commands in the chat:

/gamerule doDaylightCycle false

/gamerule doWeatherCycle false

/gamerule doMobSpawning false

/gamerule doFireTick false

(You may also want to change some of the shader settings, for example to get rid of the waving effect for some blocks)

Finding the blocks you want to use

All the blocks and items that are changed in this resource pack have new names, too.

You can use the following search terms in the search tab in your creative inventory:

color

lamp

corner

wall

floor

flower
